Robert
Carey, left, former County Chairperson of the IFA, and the people
of Carrowmenagh make a presentation to John A McLaughlin in
recognition of his many years of contribution to the community.
Speaking
to the SUNDAY yesterday John A was "still on cloud nine.
We had a fantastic night that went on to the early hours of
the morning!"
John
A is a much-respected member of the Carrowmenagh community and
this award means a lot to him.
"I
am so proud and happy to accept this award with my family around
me. I would say most of the village turned out and those who
couldn't make it have been ringing me with congratulations.
There were people from all over Inishowen from Culdaff, Carndonagh
and Gleneely, and Martin McIntyre travelled all the way from
Ballybofey."
